Trustpilot calculated Redbox's score 1.2. The latest review - I have come to the conclusion over a long period of time, that Redbox has poor business practices. They consistently change rules on point accumulation for renting and especially purchasing movies. The "rules" are not listed on the website, each customer service rep says something different and keeps you waiting for long periods to "check" your account for the numerous discrepancies. They tell you to go to the website for the rules, which are nonexistent. It's consistently taken about 50 minutes to "resolve" any issues, (it feels more like an FBI background check, than for simple movie rentals/purchases). Then you are still not given the points promised even after requesting an email! As a result of calling in and complaining, points are not accumulating for rentals either! Dishonest business practices.......
