Trustpilot calculated Crazy Domains AU's score 4.5. The latest review - Make sure you ASK questions and don’t presume their sales staff know what they are talking about - the lesson I learnt cost me $194 which I’m still waiting for a refund! So I’ve got two websites, or should I say two Domain names. My first website design was flawless and I admit Crazy Domains’ web builder is quite good. So my new website is up and running, all going smoothly, linked to social media, etc. I then register a second domain name which I’m thinking is more appropriate for my wedding photography business. I phone Crazy Domains and ask... Can I copy my web builder design to my new Domain name?... the answer is No... but in actual fact, the fact is Yes, it could have been!!... so the sales girl sells me the full $194 package, quote forcefully I have to say! I’m thinking, I’m going to double check this, but in the meantime I spend 6-8 hours re-building my website all over again, a duplicate of my original design - surely I don’t need to do this I’m asking!? Sure enough I send an email to a different section and to my surprise they could have simply copied my design across to my new domain name... and now they say I’m owed the $194. A month later I’m still waiting for the refund and I’m getting stressed and angry. They can charge your Visa card quicker than the blink of an eye but can’t refund you before sending 30 emails with apologies... and it’s now getting rediculous and too many consultants gave read my complaints, apologised and it just keeps going. The moral of the story is - never presume what a sales person tells you is correct... sure I rushed because I wanted to get my new website up and running... but another day and a simple email would have solved my concerns! So there ya go. But fir heavens sake reimburse me guys!! David, Byron Bay..
